Four firefighters and three police officers—along with some nearby good Samaritans—helped rescue three adults and three children from a burning Sidney Street (NY) home over the weekend, reports buffalonews.com.
Body camera footage captured the moment first responders ran into the burning building, as well as when a woman and a child jumped from a second-story overhang.
Fire and police officials responded to the two-alarm blaze in the two-family home at 80 Sidney St. around 11:30 a.m., the report says. All six people inside the home avoided harm.
The fire started on the second floor and extended to the attic; its cause is under investigation.
