Mutual aid at Hyde Park house fire

Los Angeles Fire Department companies were dispatched to a reported structure fire on the 5100 blk. of S. Victoria Ave. at 00:52​hrs. with mutual aid from LA County Fire.

Units assigned: LA City A-Unit 1, Battalion 13, Task Force 66, Task Force 94, Light Force 33, Engine 34, Rescue 66, Rescue 266, Rescue 866, EMS 11, LA County Battalion 20, Engine 38, Engine 172, & LAPD.

TF66 was first on scene of a single-story single family dwelling, well involved with fire; E66 was primary fire attack with back up from E94, T66 & RA866 went to the roof for vertical ventilation, LF94 was tasked with checking exposures, and BC13 was Victoria IC. LF33 & E34 were apart of a request for an additional task force from BC13 but were quickly canceled.

Five occupants and a dog were located in the backyard, unharmed. All were evaluated by RA66 & RA266.

Knockdown was called in 21 minutes with 34 personnel, Arson 1 was dispatched for an investigation.
