Multiple evolutions during recruit training

A few times a year, Seattle Fire conducts live burn training so that their recruits can practice fire fighting techniques in a realistic but controlled scenario. Much of the interior is removed before the burn, including carpet and other synthetic materials, and a lot of the flames are from wooden pallets stacked inside. https://fireline.seattle.gov/2021/05/…

This is the third time I’ve seen them doing live burn training, but the first time I’ve gotten to see flames. I also got a good look at Air 260, and finally got to meet longtime viewer Pete Williams IV!

Filmed May 5th, 2021.
