Fire in the Rear in Los Angeles

Access was difficult, as the home was on an alley in between Woodlawn and Main, however E14 stretched a 1 3/4” in order to initiate fire attack.

Engine 14 on the scene reporting an auto fire with

On 5.10.21, a reported structure fire came out on Woodlawn near 41st Pl. on a mid block at around 0040 hours.

TF21, SQ21, LF15, E14, RA14, RA814, and BC1 responded to the location where E14 reported a single story, single family, previous burn with fire showing to the rear of the structure.

Access was difficult, as the home was on an alley in between Woodlawn and Main, however E14 stretched a 1 3/4” in order to initiate fire attack.

LF15 approached on Main with E21 to assist on the alpha side with LF21 and RA814 going on Woodlawn to back up E14 and access a Delta side exposure.

Knockdown was achieved quickly after the auto fire was extinguished and the fire on the rear and in the attic was knocked down as well.

LAPD could be seen at the beginning checking for victims with an airship overhead.
