SANTA CLARITA, California – Hundreds of firefighters lined the entrance to the College of the Canyons Thursday evening in honor of the daughter of a fallen firefighter.

ABC7 reported that the firefighters were there to attend the high school graduation of Joslyn Carlon, the daughter of Firefighter Specialist Tory Carlon.

Carlon was killed Tuesday when an off-duty firefighter entered the fire station in Agua Dulce and opened fire.

A fire captain was also critically wounded in the shooting.

Joslyn walked on stage to accept her diploma, while wearing her father’s turnout coat, to a large applause.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help Carlon’s family.
