The Anatomy of Building Construction

All building construction types and occupancy use have variables that create identifiable similarities but also distinct differences that distinguishes that building’s eventual performance under fireground conditions.

It all starts in the street; diligent, consistent and intrusive observations, and discussions following the stages of construction and also during the life cycle of the buildings and occupancy use and eventual cycle renovations, reutilization and adaptive reuse.

But, you also need to comprehend what you’re observing. Anecdotal and perpetuated inaccuracies contribute to incorrect assumptions, presumptions or application of the building intelligence.
