Have you ever wondered why you never get the call for that position or promotion? Have you ever wondered how you performed in a hiring or assessment process? This workshop will take a deep dive into your preparation as an applicant for entry-level and/or promotional assessments for career advancement. Learn what assessors are looking for before you begin your application process. This course provides a framework for you to separate yourself from the pack. The focus of this course is preparation. The course is delivered primarily in a discussion format where the group will be engaged to examine topics such as etiquette, applications, resumes, cover letters, interviews, and general preparation. Students will learn how to use these topics to build strategies to properly prepare for an assessment. On completing this course, students will better understand what it means to put their best foot forward so that they can rest a little easier knowing they did their best.
