Across the country, firefighters are faced with the unique challenges presented by resorts within their jurisdiction or mutual-aid districts. These resorts ranges from beachfront high-rises to mountainside condominiums. Each resort has unique fireground tactical operational challenges that must be addressed for safe and effective operations. This program will look at the unique challenges that firefighters face each time they respond to these resorts. Topics include complex resort layouts and accompanying strategy and tactics, preincident planning, and setting operations up for success.
