BOSTON – Firefighters rescued three people during an apartment fire Wednesday morning.

Boston 25 News reported that firefighters rescued a woman and two children from a fire in a four-story brownstone in the South End.

The fire department stated the fire began at approximately 8:00 a.m. at 68 West Newton Street.

A second-alarm was called due to fire conditions.
