72-year-old captain collapsed during shed fire

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Captain Ronald Ingram, 72, of the Woodford County Fire Protection District on March 3, 2021.

Captain Ronald Ingram was part of a response to a shed fire. Shortly after his arrival on-scene, Ingram collapsed. CPR was immediately initiated, and Ingram was then transported to a local hospital where he passed away.
