Pennsylvania Firefighter Killed at Crash Scene

Volunteer firefighter had stopped to help

CARBON COUNTY, Pennsylvania — WNEP reports that volunteer firefighter was killed Tuesday evening while helping at a crash scene.

Lloyd Musick, 49, from Summit Hill had stopped to help at a crash on Route 309 near New Tripoli when he was struck by a minivan.

Two other people were also hit, one injured seriously.

Musick’s family told WNEP he was a member of the Diligence Fire Company in Summit Hill since the early 1990’s.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help the family.
