Boston Firefighters Injured in Four-Alarm Fire

Two hurt in Dorchester blaze

Two Boston firefighters suffered minor injuries and 12 residents have been displaced following a blaze in Dorchester Saturday morning.

Firefighters responded to 16 Nightingale St. around 7:45 a.m. to a second-alarm blaze, Boston fire officials said.

Flames spread to a second home at 12 Nightingale St. as third- and fourth-alarms were called, officials said. Rear porches collapsed and power lines went down.

After the heavy fire was knocked down, firefighters continued to chase hot spots.

Boston EMS transported the two firefighters who were injured.
