The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Lieutenant/Paramedic Cody Traber, 41, of Spokane County (WA) Fire District #9 on August 26, 2021.
On Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, Lieutenant/Paramedic Cody Traber responded to a reported brush fire. While investigating the fire, he fell from the Wandermere Bridge at Highway 395 and passed away from the injuries he sustained in the fall.
