Contracted COVID-19 from responding to numerous emergency medical calls

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Engineer Malcolm Arrington, 54, of the Nashville (TN) Fire Department on September 1, 2021.

While on duty, Engineer Arrington contracted COVID-19 from responding to numerous emergency medical calls. He passed away from the virus on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021.
