USFA: Missouri Line Of Duty Death

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official line of duty death of Firefighter Henry “Jay” Branscum, 32, of the Northeast R-IV Rural Fire Association on September 3, 2011.

Firefighter Branscum died from a cause still to be determined while working at the scene of campground/resort fire involving several camp trailer homes.

Funeral Arrangements:
Services are set for 10 AM Thursday Sept. 8, 2011 at Timber Lake Christian Church, 1624 Gratz Brown, Moberly, MO 65270.  Burial to follow, MO State Veterans Cemetery, County Rd 1675, Jacksonville, MO 1479.

Memorial Fund Contact and Address:
In lieu of flowers the Family suggests memorials to the Jay Branscum Memorial Fund, c/o Bank of Cairo and Moberly, 207 East Rollins St, Moberly, MO 65270.
