USFA: Florida On-Duty Death

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Driver/Engineer David Hackett, 44, of Hernando County Fire and Emergency Services on September 25, 2021.

While on duty, Driver/Engineer David Hackett contracted COVID-19 at the fire station.  He passed away from the virus on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
