The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Firefighter/Paramedic Miguel Angulo, 42, of the Phoenix (AZ) Fire Department on September 6, 2021.

On July 22, 2021, Firefighter/Paramedic Miguel Angulo responded to an EMS call with a patient with a known case of COVID-19. He subsequently contracted the virus and passed away on Monday, Sept. 6, 2021.
