Green Bay (WI) Firefighter Killed by Cancer Honored with Promotion He Had Declined

Green Bay turned out to honor Tyler Krier, a 17-year veteran engineer and paramedic with the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, who passed away last week after a battle with cancer.

At Krier’s funeral on Thursday, Krier was posthumously promoted to Lieutenant Paramedic. Despite battling cancer for three years, Krier continued to serve at Station 6 in Green Bay.
