Firefighterathlete.com: Building a Fitter, Faster and Better Prepared Fire Service

Kansas City, MO, October 30 - FirefighterAthlete.com was created by one of our own, a full-time working firefighter, who believes that the most valuable piece of equipment any department or individual can invest in is the modern firefighter and their body.

FFA is a fitness and training site but most importantly a collaborative community that wants to offer a complete approach to building a better and stronger fire service. Everyday we post a new coach led workout that will focus on specifically developing cardiovascular fitness, power and strength, the core or some combination of all of these. The only thing you need to do to gain access to the daily workout is sign up for a free account.

What?! Free?! Yeah, that’s right; Free-Ninety-Nine. You just have to give us a valid email address and you can gain access everyday to our newest workout. Each will be demonstrated by video and clearly written out as well. We are always innovating and getting creative so that you don’t fall into the rut of doing the same old same old again and again. All FFA workouts can all be scaled to match where the individual’s current fitness level is at and will challenge even the most fit firefighter athletes.

If you want to take your training and fitness to another level upgrade your membership for just $9 per month. Premium members have access to all of our videos, training plans, training log and other features. You don’t like the workout of the day? Dig through our archives of hundreds of others. Most importantly you get to take part in our once monthly competition and simply by completing the workout you can win some pretty killer prizes.

FFA also believes in building a stronger community and wants to showcase exactly what makes not only our job different but each and every firefighting community unique in there own right. FFA wants to explore and showcase all firefighting communities as well as it’s members wherever they might be and each of the communities that they serve. FFA was built to unapologetically serve our front line, suppression members and discuss the relevant to make our job stronger, safer, smarter and keep our tradition and heritage as proud as ever.
