Woman, Children Rescued in Massachusetts Fire

BROCKTON, Massachusetts – WCVB reported that a woman and three children were rescued from a fire at apartment in Brockton.

The two-alarm fire started in the basement of 574 Warren Avenue.

Smoke from the fire drifted to the floors above, trapping the occupants.

A 33-year-old woman, a 16-year-old girl, a 12-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl were rescued from the third floor.

No injuries were reported.
