Videos: San Francisco Firefighters Battle Multi-Alarm Fire

Firefighters in San Francisco battled a massive, five-alarm fire in the city’s Mission District, officials said.

There have been no reports of injuries, though a massive plume of smoke could be seen hanging in the area surrounding the area. KTVU-TV reports the address where the blaze was first reported is 3312 Mission St., the site of an Ace Hardware store. It is abutted by a multi-story apartment building and several smaller structures.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports the fire has engulfed five surrounding buildings on the block.

The blaze was first reported around 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Pacific time.
