Video: South Metro (CO) Fire Rescue Responds to Plane Crash on Highway Median

South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a plane crash in the median of E-470 between Peoria and Jamaica Tuesday afternoon.

South Metro’s Public Information Officer reported on Twitter that there were two people in the plane at the time of the crash. Both managed to exit the crash, and were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

No vehicles were involved in the crash.

Update on the crash: The involved plane is a Cessna P210N single engine, six passenger aircraft that was flying from the south toward the north and went down just south of Centennial Airport. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
