Leeds Bass Pro Shops, hold Connor Padgett’s beer. The partygoer’s expletive-laden screams after getting stuck in a decorative urn during New Year’s Eve in Mountain Brook is the latest viral video out of Alabama.

“Call the fire department to break this m—–f—–,” Padgett screams as onlookers offer words of encouragement in a video posted by Twitter user Kristi Yamaguccimane that has amassed 13 million views and counting.

“I’m f—,” Padgett says as one partygoer hacks away at the urn with a chisel.

Others offered him tips that Padgett said were futile.

“I am doing everything I f—– can. Goddamit!” he screams. “I already took my belt off, and that didn’t do s—.”

Efforts by AL.com to reach Padgett for comment were unsuccessful.

The X account (once called Twitter) of Casual Thursday said they were at the Mountain Brook party, gave a play-by-play of Padgett’s ordeal:

“There’s a cracking sound and the crowd cheers. He is free! The urn has been shattered and our hero emerges unscathed. Our long national nightmare is over,” the account tweeted.

“People are now discussing the cost of the shattered urn. I’m hearing prices ranging from $500 to as high as $3000 US American dollars.

Urn guy is up and moving around, but now without his pants, which were apparently lost or damaged in the incident. (Everyone seems fine with this) He wants a cigarette.

He wanted a double Makers on the rocks. I gave it to him and now he’s drinking alone and having a cigarette, still pantsless in the corner of the yard.

Looks like a friend is trying to usher him into an Uber. Happy New Year everyone. Stay safe out there. Remember, decorative urns always look bigger from the outside.”

Yamaguccimane has secured an interview with Padgett to talk about his 15 viral fame on Yamaguccimane’s podcast JortsCenter:

Padgett’s sticky situation went viral days after a man stripped naked and jumped into the Leeds Bass Pro Shops aquarium before knocking himself unconscious on Friday.

Video taken by bystanders showed the man do a cannonball into the aquarium and later stand under the waterfall.

As two Leeds police officers began to walk up the stairs, the man exited the water, yelled something to the officers and then dove back into the water.

He continued to shout something to officers before he climbed over the side of the aquarium and dropped to the concrete floor below, appearing to have been knocked out by the fall.

Officers handcuffed the man, who then woke up and began to try to struggle.

Someone covered him with a blanket as officers took him from the store.

Police said the man was only in the water for about five minutes before officers arrived.

He was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation and then booked into the St. Clair County Jail.

He is charged with public lewdness, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, assault on a police officer, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief and two counts of reckless endangerment.
