Video Captures Four Firefighters and Dispatcher Saving an Elderly Man in Owosso (MI) House Fire

Four firefighters and a Shiawassee County dispatcher teamed up to rescue an elderly man from the second floor of an Owosso home fully engulfed in flames in February.

All five were recognized Monday, March 21 with a citation of valor from the Owosso Fire Department.

The citation thanked Fire Lieutenant Matt Nowiski, Owosso Firefighter John McKay, Owosso Township Fire Lieutenant Mike Gute, Owosso Township Firefighter Whitney Ryan and Shiawassee County Dispatcher Kelsey Curtis for their life-saving actions during the fire.
