Three-alarm fire in North Austin

AUSTIN, Texas – Austin firefighters responded to a large fire involving a construction site early Thursday morning, according to KXAN.

Firefighters were dispatched to the site in the 4000 block of Banister Lane at approximately 3:40 a.m.

Austin Fire Department Captain Andy Reardon told KXAN that two apartment buildings in a nearby complex are a complete loss after the fire had spread from the construction site.
