Utica (IL) Firefighter Injured in Empty House Fire

A Utica, Ill. firefighter had to be treated at a hospital Sunday after he fell through the floor of a vacant house that caught fire.

The News Tribune reports the injuries suffered by the firefighter were minor ones. Firefighters from four departments took two-and-a-half hours to extinguish the fire, which was reported as a gas meter on fire.
