Firefighter Clift died due to COVID-19

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Firefighter John Howell Clift, 64, of Rural Metro Fire Department on January 2, 2021.

Firefighter John Howell Clift contracted COVID-19 while on-duty. He was hospitalized in early December and passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021.
