The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Firefighter Corbin Rogers, 21, of the Spring Lake Fire Department on January 31, 2020.

On Friday, January 31, 2020, Firefighter Corbin Rogers was returning home from a mandated aerial training class at the Spring Lake Fire Department when he was involved in a vehicle accident. Rogers passed away at the scene.
