The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Chief Robert White, Jr., 65, of the West Stockholm Fire Department on December 5, 2019.

On Thursday, December 5, 2019, at approximately 1930hrs., Chief Robert White responded to a residential structure fire in Potsdam, New York. After arriving at the scene, he collapsed and was immediately taken to the hospital where he passed away. The cause and the nature of death have not yet been determined.
