The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Firefighter-Paramedic M. Kent Stillwagon, 52, of the Greelawn Fire Deaprtment on April 17, 2018.
Shortly after responding to numerous calls on the evening of Monday, April 16, 2018, Firefighter-Paramedic M. Kent Stillwagon was found just after midnight at his residence in cardiac arrest. His fellow volunteers and friends from the Greenlawn Fire Department responded and tried valiantly to resuscitate him, but after being transported to Huntington hospital and an extended resuscitation attempt by hospital staff, Firefighter-Paramedic Stillwagon passed away.
