USFA: Indiana On-Duty Death

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Firefighter Gerald A. Brooks, 49, of the Indianapolis Fire Department on November 2, 2021.

While on duty Firefighter Gerald A. Brooks responded to numerous EMS calls. He subsequently contracted COVID-19 and passed away from the virus on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021.
