The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Firefighter Kenneth Jones, 46, of Summit Fire & EMS Authority on December 7, 2019.

On Saturday, December 7, 2019, at approximately 0200hrs., Firefighter Kenneth Jones responded to a multi-residential structure fire. Jones had climbed to the roof of the five-story building in search of access to the fire when he fell off of the structure. He was immediately transported to the hospital where he passed away.
