Two Workers Rescued from M&M Mars Chocolate Tank at Elizabethtown (PA) Factory

Two people were rescued after falling into a chocolate tank at the Mars M&M factory in Elizabethtown Thursday.

Firefighters were called to the scene around 2 p.m. with a report that the two people had fallen in the tank and, though they were not seriously injured, they could not get out.

Firefighters had to cut a hole in the tank to get the workers out. The factory in the 200 block of Brown Street make a variety of candies.

The workers were reportedly taken to the hospital to be checked out.
