Two-Alarm Fire in San Diego

SAN DIEGO (San Diego Tribune) – Arson investigators are trying to determine what sparked a two-alarm structure fire in Mission Beach Tuesday morning that left two people injured and caused $2.75 million in damage.

Crews were dispatched to the blaze on Ventura Place near Strandway near Belmont Park around 6:53 a.m.

When firefighters arrived they found smoke and flames coming from the second floor and roof of the building, which has ground-floor commercial businesses.
