Three Miami-Dade Fire Rescue firefighters had a close call Monday morning at a house fire in area of Northwest 83rd Street and Northwest 5th Court.
They responded to a fire at that address shortly before 3 a.m. to discover an empty house with an active fire. NBC 6 reports as the firefighters were inside knocking down the flames, a cast iron bathtub on the second floor crashed through the ceiling, striking them.
No one was injured in the fire.
