Thank You For Your Sacrifice: Colorado Springs (CO) Readies for Fallen Firefighter Memorial

Thousands of people arrive in Colorado Springs for the IAFF Fallen Firefighter Memorial Saturday, but the planning for the event has been underway for months.

469 names are added to the Fallen Firefighter Memorial this year, and Saturday the families of fallen firefighters will gather to remember and celebrate their loved ones.

Two hundred volunteers, fill 640 shifts putting in 2,500 hours prepping and managing for the moving and memorable event, KOAA reports.
