Texas Firefighters Recover Some Equipment Stolen by Thieves

HUDSON, Texas — Two men have been arrested for stealing $96K worth of equipment from a Texas volunteer fire department.

KTEK reports that Danny Hughes and Ty Glover, both from Lufkin, have been charged in connection to the thefts.

Glover has a lengthy record of multiple burglary charges over the last five years.

Among the items stolen from the fire department were:

TNT Jaws of Life® to include spreader, cutter, power unit, and all hoses.
Two Husqvarna chain saws and a Husqvarna K-12 saw.
Four Scott 2216 SCBAs (breathing air packs) with 4 face masks and 8 spare bottles.
