Tampa Firefighters Respond to High-Rise Roof Fire

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampa Fire Rescue crews responded to a 3-alarm fire at the Waterside Marriott Hotel on Thursday evening.

A fire rescue spokesperson said that workers had performed roof work earlier in the day and debris from the removal ignited and caused a fire on the roof.
