Compartment pegboards, dirty gear storage, and a low hosebed
Pierce Manufacturing – As part of a fleet standardization effort, the Shaker Heights Fire Department is adding another #Impel chassis with a #PUCPump to their fleet. Each compartment has pegboards and outlets, providing customizable equipment storage for years to come and flexibility when needing to plugin equipment.
Focusing on the clean cab initiative, the department added an external cab compartment to store dirty turnout gear. Other features on their 750-gallon #Pumper include an Elkhart deck monitor and nozzle with both panel and wireless remote-control access. There is an oil dry hopper in the roof hatch compartment for absorbent material. The hosebed is lowered for ergonomically friendly hose access. #ShakerHeightsOH
