Jacksonville captain lowered down
to save man after car goes off bridge

JACKSONVILLE, Florida – CBS 47 reports how Jacksonville firefighters rescued a man from the St. Johns River after his car went off the overboard into the Dames Point Bridge.

It was cold, dark and rainy as Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department Captain Phillip Orelli was lowered over the side of the Dames Point Bridge on a two-line lowering system.
