Rescue from heavy fire in Flower Mound

FLOWER MOUND, Texas – WFAA reported that Flower Mound firefighters rescued a person during an overnight house fire on December 3.

Firefighters responded at approximately 1:30 a.m. to the 1300 block of Ponder Way. When they arrived, they found “heavy fire conditions”, in a post to Twitter.

Two people and a dog were able to escape, but one adult had been trapped in a bedroom.

Crews were able to rescue them and they were taken to a local medical facility for treatment.
