WARWICK, Rhode Island — Warwick firefighters rescued a man in a house fire on Monday evening according to WPRI.

Firefighters responded to a fire in a home at Riverside Avenue and Tidewater Drive at approximately 8:30 p.m.

One person was rescued from the fire and transported to a hospital with severe burns.

At approximately 10 minutes later, two fire trucks collided at the intersection of Riverside Avenue and Longmeadow Avenue.

Three firefighters were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The causes of the fire and the collision are under investigation.
