FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth firefighters rescued a man from a burning apartment on Sunday morning according to FOX4.

Firefighters responded to the apartment complex on East Rosedale Street at approximately 1:30 a.m.

Firefighters saw fire through the roof of the building when they arrived and were told of a man trapped inside.

Firefighters found the man approximately three to four feet inside the front doorway and transported him to a local hospital.

Two other people were taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation.

Investigators believe the fire started in a kitchen

Five apartment units were damaged, and 22 occupants were displaced.
