Petersburg (VA) Left with One Fire Truck When Uninspected Apparatus Pulled from Service

Petersburg is wrestling with a shortage of fire apparatus as the department deals with trucks in need of repairs and inspections.

CBS 6 reported that over the last several weeks the department has had to juggle borrowed apparatus to maintain their fleet levels and, on Friday, had only one truck in service to respond to calls for several hours.
