The assistant chief of the Parkin Fire Department has been charged with conspiracy to commit arson, three counts of reckless burning and three counts of second degree criminal mischief.
Sean Patterson, 32, whose mother is the mayor of the town, was arrested Wednesday, WAIT 8 reports. Patterson’s mother told the news station he is innocent of the charges.
