Omaha firefighters battled a stubborn fire at an at an under-construction apartment complex for 10 hours Sunday.

Flames raced through the frame of the unfinished building at 144th Street. The building was set to be partially occupied this week, and some sprinklers were installed. But fire got above the sprinklers and 25-mile-per-hour winds made it difficult to extinguish.
