Ammunition inside the house fired and struck Walker-Pugh in the face and head.

An update on a GoFundMe page for Walker-Pugh and his family says one round struck the firefighter at the corner of his eye and travelled through his head, exiting behind his ear.

He also suffered a fractured skull.

County officials say that he may also suffer hearing loss.
