ROWAN COUNTY, North Carolina — Police report that a volunteer firefighter shot another firefighter before taking his own life in Granite Quarry, according to WSOCTV.com
Officials say that the murder-suicide shooting occurred at a home on North Main Street.
The 26-year old suspect was waiting in a pickup truck outside of his estranged wife’s home. When the other man walked out of the home the suspect fired a shotgun, hitting the man in the head.
The shooter then went into the house, confronted his estranged wife, and turned the gun on himself.
