New York Firefighters Rescue People Trapped on Roof of Burning Home

NEW ROCHELLE, New York (WABC) – Firefighters rescued 3 people from the porch roof of a burning home in New Rochelle on Thursday.



The fire broke out on the second floor of a three-story home on Elm Street just before 7 p.m. It then spread to the top adjacent floor. Two adults and a child were rescued by firefighters from the porch roof. The residents didn’t sustain injuries.
