Multiple Rescues at Cambridge Apartment Fire

Several people rescued off balconies

CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts — Approximately 30 people are displaced, and several have been rescued after a fire in an apartment building on Concord Avenue Wednesday morning.

Firefighters responded at approximately midnight to 14 Concord Avenue for fire on the third floor.

I) Four alarms were ordered, Box 4-64, for the fire at 14 Concord Av. Several people were rescued by firefighters in the heavy smoke condition as the aggressive attack contained the fire.
Time of the initial call was 1148 p.m.

Firefighters made several rescues of occupants on their balconies.

No serious injuries were reported.
